• Cask Maturation: Aged in ex‑Sherry and ex‑Cognac casks; lightly peated (about 6 ppm) giving subtle smoke. 

• Raw Materials: French barley (varieties like Sébastian, Étincel, Estérel), some grown on the distillery estate. Double‑distilled in pot stills.

Tasting Notes

• Nose (Aroma):
  Very fruity: pear, orchard fruits. Then evolving into nutty aromas (walnuts/almonds), light malt, with a faint hint of smoke and some citrus zest. Also touches of leather or oak.

• Palate (Flavor):
  Rich and oily texture. Candied / preserved fruits (cherries, glacé fruit), some citrus peel (orange or tangerine), vanilla, leather, and deeper notes like walnuts. Mild spice shows up (nutmeg, possibly ground cinnamon or wood spices). 

• Finish:
  Long. Lingering spice, gentle smoke, nuts and oak. Some dryness from wood, and an echo of the fruity sweetness remains.
