Glenfarclas Warehouse Edition 35 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml

The decision to release Glenfarclas' first ever 35-year-old single malt came during one of Distillery Manager Callum Fraser's visits through the historic Glenfarclas warehouses, where he came across a collection of casks approaching 35 years. Upon tasting, Callum deemed this single malt to be exceptional — and Glenfarclas' first 35-year-old whisky was born. 

In an era of escalating prices on big age-statement, sherry-matured malts, Glenfarclas continues to buck market trends, offering a seriously old whisky at a remarkable value. An extremely limited expression matured in Spanish oak ex-sherry casks for three and a half decades, this is one of the most coveted releases in the distillery's storied history. The bottle is presented in a bold red box, designed as an ode to the distillery's iconic warehouse doors. 

Tasting Notes

Nose: Inviting scents of toasted almonds, dark dried fruit, and caramel — reminiscent of a sherry-soaked fruit cake.

Palate: Sherry-soaked fruit cake, dark chocolate, and raisins, alongside warming cinnamon and cocoa powder. 

Finish: Long and lingering, with dried spices, sultanas, cinnamon, and a touch of cocoa powder.
