"This is one of the best Cairdeas releases and perhaps my favorite from Laphroaig. Coming in at 119 proof it drinks remarkably smooth. I love the butterscotch/caramel note as it contributes to a full mouth feel and nicely contrasts the peat. It isn't overly sweet but it is prominent. This was my whisky of the year for 2025 and I'm gonna stock pile this. Laphroaig CS was my goto but Lore Cairdeas has replaced it."
