Raíz Oaxaca Ensamble Espadín & Cuishe is an artisanal mezcal crafted in San Dionisio Ocotepec, Oaxaca, Mexico, using a blend of two distinctive agave varieties: Espadín and Cuishe. The Espadín agave matures for approximately 8 years, while the Cuishe agave matures for 15 years, creating a layered and expressive spirit. Traditionally double-distilled, this 100% agave joven mezcal reveals aromas of sweet overripe banana and pepper, followed by rich flavors of roasted walnuts and dark cocoa. Its complex character brings together the earthy, vegetal, and subtly smoky qualities of both agave varieties.
