Originally produced in Guatemala, Zaya Gran Reserva is now crafted in Trinidad and Tobago by Trinidad Distillers Ltd. For each batch, the Master Blender carefully selects 12 rare aged rums — some aged up to 16 years — to achieve a complex, rich, and deeply balanced profile. The spirit is made from high-quality blackstrap molasses particularly suited for barrel aging. 

The bottle pays tribute to Trinidad and Tobago — "The Land of the Hummingbird" — with a depiction of a golden hummingbird and the country's national flower, the chaconia. 

Tasting Notes

Nose: Vanilla and spice bouquet with char and leather notes, dark fruits, spice cake, sugar cane, and molasses. 

Palate: Rich and indulgent, with vanilla, caramel, butterscotch, cocoa, and fruit notes with a distinct sweetness throughout. 

Finish: A drying barrel, oaky pepper, and spice finish — warm, lingering, and satisfying.
