The Fuenteseca Reserva Cosecha 2009 is not just a tequila — it's a collector's artifact. Distilled in 2009 by legendary Master Distiller Enrique Fonseca and patiently aged for a full 12 years, this vintage-dated Extra Añejo represents the absolute pinnacle of what aged tequila can be.
What sets it apart is the cask program. The spirit rested in a combination of American oak barrels previously used for Gran Reserva Rioja and Ribera del Duero wines, alongside French oak barrels that once held Bordeaux Reserve — a layering of influences that adds extraordinary depth without ever overshadowing the soul of the agave.
The result is a tequila that speaks two languages: the roasted, earthy purity of 100% blue Weber agave, and the refined complexity of a world-class aged spirit. Rich, balanced, and endlessly nuanced — equally at home alongside a fine Scotch or Cognac.
