Appearance: Dark amber verging on brown - surprisingly dark for a 2-3 year whiskey, reflecting heavily charred new oak barrels. Watery legs with rich color saturation.

Aroma: Surprisingly sweet and almost bourbon-like despite the high-rye mashbill. Strong notes of vanilla and maple syrup dominate, complemented by sweet maple, stone fruit, and a touch of honey. Subtle grace notes of grass and earthiness provide depth. Light pepper and spice with appropriate alcohol burn for the proof. The sweet mash process creates a uniquely aromatic, fruit-forward profile.

Palate: Bold rye spice awakens the palate with black pepper, granulated brown sugar, and gingersnap cookies at the forefront. Dark chocolate, nutmeg, and leather add complexity with lingering fruit notes. Sweet maple blends seamlessly with stone fruit and honey.
