Lost Lore High Proof Reposado is a bold, craft-driven tequila expression made for enthusiasts seeking intensity in a reposado format. Aged up to 12 months in former whiskey barrels and bottled at 49% ABV (98 proof), this reposado retains vibrant agave character while delivering elevated depth and complexity. The spirit is produced under NOM 1414 at the Vivanco Family distillery by Master Distiller Sergio Cruz. 

Tasting Notes

• Appearance: Light to medium amber with subtle golden highlights — a hint of barrel influence visible in the color. 

• Nose: Rich cooked blue agave aromas lead, followed by vanilla bean, toasted oak, light caramel, and hints of white pepper and spice. 

• Palate: Full-bodied with a backbone of vibrant agave sweetness balanced by barrel-maturation notes vanilla, butterscotch, subtle baking spice (cinnamon/clove), toasted oak, and a clean peppery kick. The high proof gives it a defined presence without being harsh. 

• Finish: Medium-long and warming, with lingering oak tannin, soft vanilla lingering, gentle pepper/spice receding into agave sweetness. A refined finish for a high-proof reposado.
