Tapatio Excelencia Gran Reserva is an Extra Añejo tequila crafted at the historic La Alteña distillery in Los Altos, Jalisco. Made from 100% Blue Weber agave, it is traditionally cooked in stone ovens, naturally fermented, and double-distilled in copper pot stills. The tequila is then aged around 4 years in new charred American oak barrels, creating a luxurious and complex spirit that balances agave character with rich barrel influence.

Tasting Notes 

• Nose: Rich layers of oak, vanilla, caramel, roasted peppers, toffee apple, honeysuckle, and baking spice, with hints of chocolate and fresh bread.

• Palate: Deep and well-structured; flavors of cooked agave, spiced cake, brown sugar, dark chocolate, orchard fruits, and floral notes over a creamy oak base.

• Finish: Long, smooth, and warming with Turkish Delight, fruity chocolate, woody spice, and lingering cocoa.
