Vina Robles Mountain Road Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 750ml

Vina Robles Mountain Road Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 750ml

Vina Robles Mountain Road Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 is a sophisticated and full-bodied Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from the rugged Adelaida District in California's Central Coast. The vineyard sits at approximately 1,700 feet elevation, just 12 miles from the Pacific Coast, with rocky calcareous soils and southwestern exposures that contribute to the wine's concentration, freshness and mineral character.

This limited-production Reserve is composed of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot and 4% Cabernet Franc. The wine was aged for 20 months in French oak barrels and bottled unfined and unfiltered, allowing its rich fruit and structured character to shine through.

The 2021 vintage displays a dark ruby color with aromas of cassis and boysenberry, complemented by mocha, violet and subtle white pepper. The palate is full-bodied and juicy, offering layers of dark purple fruit and mocha with an enveloping, rich and creamy finish.

Wine Enthusiast awarded the 2021 Mountain Road Reserve 94 points and a Cellar Selection designation, describing the wine as intensely layered with blackberry, cocoa, caramel and pepper wrapped in polished tannins.

Enjoy this Cabernet Sauvignon with grilled steak, braised short ribs, lamb, roasted meats, burgers, or aged cheeses.
