WhistlePig The BigShəBàng 30 Year Single Malt Whiskey is an exceptionally rare and celebrated release from WhistlePig Distillery, located in Shoreham, Vermont. This singular expression was distilled in 1995 from 100% malted barley and aged for 30 years, making it one of the oldest single-malt whiskies produced in North America. It spent the majority of its lifespan in American oak before receiving a refined finish in Vin Santo dessert-wine casks, adding layers of sweetness and complexity. It is bottled at 45.2% ABV (90.4 proof), non-chill filtered, and released as a single-barrel, limited-edition collectible, encased in an elegant decanter within a wooden display box.

Tasting Notes

Nose:

• Aromas of caramelized figs, toasted almonds, honey, dried apricot, and a soft dessert-wine sweetness from the Vin Santo finish.
