Made from 100% Espadín agave, this expressive mezcal is distilled in traditional clay pot stills and bottled at 47% ABV (94 Proof).
What makes Cempasúchil especially unique is its final distillation. Fresh Cempasúchil, the Mexican marigold associated with Día de los Muertos, and mandarin peel are incorporated during distillation, creating an unusual combination of floral and citrus aromatics while preserving the earthy, smoky character of roasted Espadín agave.
The nose opens with bright citrus, late-season florals and baking spice. On the palate, green pepper, orange zest, nutmeg and anise combine with cooked agave, subtle sweetness and mineral notes. The finish is smooth, lingering and distinctly floral with gentle smoky and earthy undertones.
