Castello Banfi SummuS 2020 is a powerful and elegant Super Tuscan from Montalcino, Tuscany. The 2020 vintage brings together Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah, combining the structure and savory character of Sangiovese with the fruit and depth of Cabernet Sauvignon and the aromatic elegance of Syrah.

The wine shows an intensely colored ruby-red appearance, with generous aromas of ripe fruit, blackberry, plum, jam, spices, tobacco, and coffee. On the palate, it is full-bodied and muscular yet balanced, with substantial but polished, sweet tannins and a long, persistent finish.

SummuS 2020 was fermented in temperature-controlled French oak and stainless-steel Horizon tanks and aged for approximately 18 months in 350-liter French oak barrels. It was bottled at 14.5% ABV.
