2019 Vintage

The 2019 Far Niente Cave Collection Cabernet Sauvignon is an exceptional expression of Oakville Cabernet. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon harvested from the historic Martin Stelling Vineyard, it spent 20 months in French oak, 70% of which was new.

Aromas of espresso, blueberry, and dark cherry lead into a silky palate of blackberry, cassis, cocoa, and dark chocolate. Fine-grained tannins and excellent concentration create a long, polished finish.

2020 Vintage

The 2020 Far Niente Cave Collection Cabernet Sauvignon offers the depth and structure expected from an Oakville Cabernet while benefiting from extended cellar aging. With time in bottle, the wine develops more pronounced layers of dark fruit, cassis, blackberry, cedar, cocoa, and savory spice, framed by polished tannins and balanced acidity.

2021 Vintage

The 2021 Far Niente Cave Collection Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the newest library releases from Far Niente. The 2021 vintage produced small, intensely flavored grapes following a dry growing season and mild summer, resulting in a Cabernet with exceptional concentration and structure.

The wine shows layers of blackberry, black cherry, cassis, cedar, dark chocolate, and baking spice, supported by refined tannins and a long, elegant finish. Far Niente currently lists the 2021 Cave Collection as part of its annual limited allocation.
