Fèlsina Fontalloro Toscana IGT 2019 is a refined and age-worthy Tuscan red made from 100% Sangiovese. Fontalloro is Fèlsina’s signature expression of Sangiovese, sourced from vineyards located between Chianti Classico and Chianti Colli Senesi.
The 2019 vintage offers an elegant combination of ripe cherry, wild berries, black currant, tobacco, licorice, aromatic herbs and earthy notes. On the palate, firm yet polished tannins and bright acidity provide structure, while the long finish adds spice and subtle oak character.
Fèlsina matures Fontalloro in new and first-use French oak barrels for approximately 18–22 months, followed by additional bottle aging. The 2019 vintage received strong critical recognition, including 96 points from James Suckling and Falstaff.
