The 14 Year Old Bourbon Barrel Reserve is the boldest and most American-influenced bottle in Glenfiddich's core lineup. Matured for 14 years in ex-bourbon oak casks to build the distillery's signature fruit and malt character, then finished in deeply charred virgin American oak barrels sourced from the Kelvin Cooperage in Louisville, Kentucky. The new oak finish drives caramelized brown sugar, toasted vanilla, candied orange peel, and warm baking spice deep into the whisky in a way that no previously used barrel can replicate. It is the Glenfiddich for bourbon drinkers. A U.S. exclusive release.

The 15 Year Old Solera is the most technically distinctive whisky in the range. Matured in three different cask types simultaneously: European oak Oloroso sherry casks, ex-bourbon casks, and new oak casks. After maturation the whisky is vatted together in Glenfiddich's famous Solera tun, a giant oak vessel that has never been fully emptied since it was first filled in 1998. Glenfiddich keeps it at least half full at all times, meaning every new batch of 15 year old blends with whisky that has been resting in that tun for years, picking up additional complexity and a consistency that is impossible to achieve any other way. The result is rich, spiced, honeyed, and full of layered dried fruit character.

The 18 Year Old Small Batch Reserve is the most refined expression of the three. Produced in individually numbered small batches, with 18 to 20% ex-Oloroso sherry cask whisky blended in for depth and richness, then married in wooden tuns for a minimum of three months before bottling. The extra years show clearly: the oak is more present, the spice deeper, the dried fruit richer, and the whole expression carries a gravitas and warmth that can only come from time.

Together, these three bottles offer one of the most instructive progressions available in Speyside single malt. Same distillery. Same house style. Three very different cask stories.
