Isle of Raasay The Chinkapin Single Malt Scotch Whisky 50.2% Alc 700ml is a distinctive expression from Isle of Raasay Distillery, combining peated and unpeated spirit made from 100% Scottish barley. The whisky is fully matured in a combination of fresh and refill Chinkapin oak casks, a rare North American white oak that is heavily toasted and charred.

Bottled at 50.2% ABV, The Chinkapin is naturally coloured and non-chill filtered. The heavily toasted Chinkapin oak brings rich barbecue, caramelized sweetness, toasted oak, and spice to the distillery's signature lightly peated style.

The nose offers wood smoke and rich dark fruits, while the palate develops into barbecue glaze, honey, bright lime, cinnamon, and smoked ham. The finish lingers with sandalwood, gentle char, oak spice, and fragrant smoke.
