Since 1881, King of Kentucky has stood as one of America's most storied bourbon names. Revived by Brown-Forman in 2018 after a 50-year absence, the brand offers whiskey connoisseurs a rare look into Brown-Forman's legendary barrel archives — and this release marks an historic new chapter.

For the first time in over 90 years, King of Kentucky introduces a Small Batch collection. Batch 1 is the inaugural release of this three-batch limited series, built from a curated blend of approximately 100 hand-selected barrels aged 12 to 18 years across multiple Brown-Forman rickhouses. These barrels were originally earmarked as single barrel candidates — the very best of Brown-Forman's aging stocks — before being set aside to develop even further depth and complexity.

Aged in Brown-Forman's iconic heat-cycled warehouses, the evaporation is extreme: some barrels retained as little as 16% of their original volume, concentrating every drop into something truly extraordinary. Bottled at 52.5% ABV (105 proof) without chill filtration, Batch 1 delivers the lowest proof of the three batches — and the most rounded, balanced expression of the series.
