Mezcal de Leyendas Coyote is a limited-production artisanal mezcal from Sola de Vega, Oaxaca, crafted by fifth-generation mezcalero Ángel Cruz Robles. Made from 100% Agave americana var. oaxacensis, commonly known as Coyote, this ancestral-style mezcal showcases the distinctive character of this rare Oaxacan agave.

Traditional production begins with roasting the agave in an underground stone pit, followed by manual milling, fermentation in oak wood vats, and distillation in traditional clay pots. The result is an expressive mezcal with aromas of peat and hard candy, followed by a deep earthy palate with toasted agave character.

Bottled at 46.8% ABV, Mezcal de Leyendas Coyote is an excellent choice for sipping neat and exploring the complex flavors of traditionally crafted Oaxacan mezcal.
