Mezcal de Leyendas Vinata Solar Durango is a distinctive artisanal mezcal from Durango, Mexico, created by Maestro Mezcalero Gerardo Ruelas. Made from Maguey Cenizo (Agave durangensis), this limited-production mezcal highlights the unique character of Durango agave.
What makes Vinata Solar particularly distinctive is its production using solar energy throughout the process. The agave is cooked in a steam-heated steel oven, mechanically milled, fermented in oak wood tanks, and double-distilled in a copper alembic still.
Bottled at 91.8 Proof (45.9% ABV), it offers fresh herbal aromas, a full-bodied palate and a clean, long-lasting candied finish. Enjoy neat to appreciate its distinctive agave character.
