Poggio al Tesoro Il Seggio 2022 is a Bolgheri Rosso DOC from Tuscany's renowned Bolgheri region, crafted in a Bordeaux-inspired style. The blend combines 50% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Petit Verdot.

The 2022 vintage opens with fresh, vibrant red and dark fruit aromas complemented by mineral and spicy notes. On the palate, red berries, cassis and blackberry mingle with subtle mocha and tobacco nuances. Elegant, silky tannins provide a smooth, enveloping texture, while balanced acidity brings freshness to the finish.

Il Seggio is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and aged for 15 months in 225-liter French oak barriques, 30% new and 70% second-use. The result is a polished Tuscan red that combines structure, freshness and approachable elegance.
