Woodinville Whiskey Co. set out to prove that the Pacific Northwest could produce world-class American whiskey, and this 100% straight rye is one of the most compelling arguments in their favor. Aged 6 years in new charred American oak and crafted entirely from single-source rye grain, it has earned back-to-back honors as Craft Rye Whiskey of the Year from the American Distilling Institute.

The grain is grown exclusively on the Omlin Family Farm in Quincy, Washington, then mashed, distilled, and barreled at the Woodinville distillery before the barrels are trucked over the Cascade Mountains to private barrel houses in Central Washington. There, the region's dramatic temperature swings, hot summers and cold winters, drive deep extraction of natural oak flavor at a pace that flatters the rye's bold, fruity character. Before coopering, the barrel wood is air-seasoned outdoors for eighteen months, softening harsh tannins, then slowly toasted and heavily charred to deepen the whiskey's complexity. No coloring. No additives. Just grain, oak, and time.
